Refund & Returns Policy – Aurora Eisenbahn Bildarchiv

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a full refund.

Because Aurora offers digital products (downloadable railway photographs, documents, and archives), refunds and returns differ from physical goods. Once a digital file has been downloaded, it is considered “used” and cannot be returned.

However, we understand mistakes happen. If you experience technical issues, duplicate charges, or receive incorrect files, we will ensure a resolution (refund, replacement, or store credit) within the 30-day period.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Downloadable digital products once accessed or downloaded.
  • Gift cards or vouchers.

Proof of Purchase

To process any refund request, you must provide a valid receipt, order number, or proof of purchase.


Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • A digital file that is corrupted, incomplete, or otherwise unusable, and you notify us after download.
  • Bundled or discounted collections where part of the package was successfully delivered and used.

Refund Process

  2. Review & Approval: We will verify your request, inspect file access logs, and confirm eligibility.
  3. Refund Issued: If approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, but may vary depending on your payment provider.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • First check your bank account or card statement.
  • Contact your card company or bank, as processing delays can occur.

Sale Items

Discounted or promotional products are non-refundable, unless files are defective or corrupted.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges for digital files. Instead, if you received the wrong file or corrupted download, we will re-issue the correct product or provide credit.


Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase, you may receive store credit for the value of the return. If not, the refund will be sent to the original purchaser.


Shipping Returns

Since Aurora only sells digital products, there are no physical returns or shipping requirements.
